PROBLEM to solve

Very unstable, history of falls, severe knee pain bilateral. Severe right ankle pain and plantar aspect. Lower back pain.

SOLUTION Proposed

Custom made boots with orthotics. Right foot include build-up of 1cm, right boot thermoplastic stiffener on the tongue and high thermoplastic heel counter (above malleolus), thermoplastic insoles with a high heel to toe rocker bottom outer soles.

RESULT Generated

Increased stability, increased confidence in walking, increase in activities. Decrease in pain knee, hip lower back. No report of falls while wearing the devices.
